What can we expect in Wednesday season 3?

Gough and Millar gave a hint about what fans can look forward to.
Gough said, “Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can. We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday.“

Millar added, “We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3.
“

They also mentioned some themes for the season.
They said, “This time, Wednesday will unearth more of the school‘s sinister secrets — and descend even deeper into the Addams family crypt. Or, as Wednesday would say: ‘Nothing brings a family together like a good exhumation.’“

But if you’re looking for specific plot details or casting news, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.
Millar joked, “Sure [I could tell you], but then I’d have to bury you in a shallow grave.”

In an interview on September 12, Millar told The Wrap that they expect to see more of Wednesday outside of her school.
He explained, “We’ve slowly expanded the lore and there’s more. We love world–building. That’s something we’ve always loved to do in our shows and movies we’ve done. And there’s definitely potential to continue to expand and see more of this world, what it means to be an outcast in the world outside Nevermore.“

He continued, “There are other characters that we love and it feels like we’re just dipping our toe in this world and that it can only expand from here.
So it’s actually really exciting as creators to be here and to chart the course of where it could go next.“

Season 2 ended with Wednesday leaving to find Enid after her wolf transformation, which Gough said was exciting because their “friendship is also really interesting, because it continues to be surprising.

Wait — is there a spinoff in the works too?

Possibly!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Wednesday team is considering a spinoff. Gough said, “It’s something we’re definitely noodling. There are other characters we can look at.” Bajaria agreed, saying, “There’s a lot to explore in the Addams Family.”
