The last part of season 6 is set to debut on Netflix on February 13.
The Netflix description says, “Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.”
Zabka compared the three-part release to a major movie trilogy.
He said, “The stakes are set at the end of the first five. I think if it was just a movie, it’s a great ending that would beg for a sequel, which fortunately is coming in a few months,” he told Tudum.
The second part of season six ended with a big surprise in the Sekai Taikai (karate tournament).
This means the Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai dojos will have to deal with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both in and out of karate.
Hayden Schlossberg, who co–created the show with Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald, said to Tudum, “All the big bads are still in play.
You still have Kreese, Silver, Sensei Wolf, Master Kim Da-Eun. Everyone is still on the board. Nothing’s been resolved. We have a lot of fun in store with all the characters left in tatters at the end of Episode 10.“
